You want to be healthy, happy, thin and fit, so the first step for many is the diet. There’s just one problem: When it comes to diets, the odds are stacked against you.
In fact, according to the National Eating Disorder Information Center, 95% of dieters regain the weight, with many actually gaining more.
That’s the group that I belonged to, the one where people gained more than they lost.
My name is Teri Haass and for over thirty years I struggled with an obsession toward food. I was immersed in a world of constant dieting, bingeing and guilt which left me unhappy, unhealthy, and overweight.
Something had to change.
One day, a day I’ll never forget, I reached my breaking point and decided I would no longer let the diets, fads and gimmicks sap my self control and destroy my self esteem. I would walk a different path, the path to taking control by becoming a master of my own health.
I would do something completely different. Something I hadn’t considered before.
I would get healthy from the inside out.
It wasn’t easy, but I’m no quitter, and caving to my miserable self was not an option. So I looked past the hype and latest “proven” diets and learned everything I could about what it actually took to live my healthy, happy, and fit life.
I dove into the science and the studies. I replaced misleading, and damaging, advice with certified proof. I became an expert on my version of healthy living, and it wasn’t through diets or tricks or gimmicks.
It worked. After struggling for decades and hating the way I looked and felt on a daily basis, I finally saw success. Finally!
After using my new approach to lose the weight–and regain my happiness–I quickly realized I wasn’t alone. There were countless others fighting their own battles, thousands of men and women struggling for their own version of healthy, happy, thin, and fit.
It was then that I made a choice: I would dedicate my life to helping others do what I had done. I became a certified life coach and now share my message of healthy living from the inside out with people throughout the world.
If your weight is causing worry, stress, guilt, fear, and sadness, I know how you feel. I’ve been there. And though it may seem impossible right now, there is a way out. There is a way to achieve that healthy body you dream of, that happy life you’re after.
I found a way that worked for me, and now I’d love to help you find yours.
